Fairfield News: These Boots Were Made For Walking……

#Fairfield CT--Over the weekend happenings--   Mark Turlis of 1033 Reef Road went into Bob's Stores on Post Road, took off his shoes, opened a box of boots and allegedly swapped them, walking out of the store.  Loss prevention apprehended him at the door with the $210 boots on his feet.  He was charge with 6th degree larceny.   Jack Opalinski of 1660 Bronson Road went into Whole Foods on Grasmere Avenue and attempted to allegedly stuff merchandise worth $74.18 down his coat.  He too is charged with 6th degree larceny.   This report made possible by:

#Fairfield, CT--There will be a Fairfield Filmmaker Film Screening at the Fairfield Public Library on Wednesday, October 14. Fairfield resident, Brean Cunningham (co- director) will introduce the film, Dogs on the Inside, at 7 pm in the Rotary Room of the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road.   Dogs on the Inside follows the relationships between abused stray dogs and prison inmates working towards a second chance at a better life. In an attempt to re-build their confidence and prepare for a new life outside, these prisoners must first learn to handle and care for a group of neglected strays.   Brean Cunningham is a documentary filmmaker and producer (Cheer). Westport News: Paving Program Announcement

#Westport CT--Road Work Commencing October 13 Public Works Director Steve Edwards today announced the commencement of the 2015 Paving Program. The following roads will be subject to milling and paving operations in the coming weeks beginning Tuesday, October 13. The work should be complete by early November,  Cross Highway (between Main Street and Compo Road)  Red Coat Road (from Cavalry Road to dead end) Residents of these roads are requested to park off of the street during milling and paving operations so as to not impede the work crews. Advance notice and ‘NO PARKING’ will be posted on the streets approximately 24 hours prior to operations commencing. Trumbull News: Possible Attempted Abduction

12:00pm--#Trumbull CT-- Police are looking for white male in a blue t-shirt and gray shorts in the Twin Brooks Park area.  The suspect allegedly punched a 9 year old boy in the stomach, kicked him in the knee and tried to grab him according to radio reports.  The incident took place in the 2nd parking lot by the pavilion.  Police are on scene searching and K-9 is on the way.   This report is made possible by:
