UPDATE: jjust before 9:30 p.m., officers responded to a call of an injured person in front of 83 Seeley Street When they arrived, they found the victim, Ivan Rodriguez Mendez, 51, lying in the road in a large pool of blood. He was pronounced dead at the scene. According to witnesses, the victim had gotten into an altercation with one or more individuals. One suspect is reported to have had a knife and several shots were fired during the incident. At this time, investigators have not determined if the victim was shot or stabbed. His cause of death will be determined at the autopsy which is scheduled for Monday. 10:10pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Tonight's car fire is a truck at Union and Connecticut Avenue. Fire was in the engine compartment and firefighters knocked it down pretty quickly. UPDATE: This was set by kids in the area and now they are tearing up things at the post office according to radio reports.
