Caller told police threats were made to several employees over the phone to many employees including the chairman. The Fairfield Public Library System, which is comprised of the Fairfield Main Library and the Fairfield Woods Branch Library, has partnered with Pequot Library to provide Fairfield Public Library Cards at Pequot Library. Town Librarian Karen Ronald said, “Pequot Library has been a community partner for decades and we hope this service is of benefit to all Fairfield residents.” All Fairfield residents will be given the opportunity to obtain a Fairfield Public Library card with a Pequot Library affinity sticker attached. 5:27pm--#cttraffic--#Stratford CT--The school bus accident on I-95 southbound between exits 31 and 32 has cleared but there is now smoke condition in the area for about 15 minute now.  No reportedfire in the area around the highway reported. #WESTPORT, CT — In an effort coordinated with the Your Downtown public outreach campaign, the Westport Library has premiered a new exhibit entitled “Thinking About Westport’s Future Downtown.” It is a visual representation, in the form of panels filled with quotes and “Word Clouds,” of the answers to questions from the Your Downtown Survey and comments made during the Your Downtown Visioning Workshops which took place earlier this summer.  The display is located in the Westport Library’s first-floor Riverwalk Hallway and on the staircase leading up to the main floor.
