Bridgeport Police Chief Gaudett Assists State Marshal in Arrest

#Bridgeport, T. (August 7, 2015) – Yesterday, Bridgeport Police Chief Joseph Gaudett assisted State Marshal Ron Kadar in making an impromptu arrest on the streets of Bridgeport.   State Marshal Kadar was in the middle of making an arrest of Robert Young on Main Street. Westport’s Police Service Dog

Members of The Westport Police Department K9 Unit met with Chris Sweetwood from the Trap Falls Kennel Club (AKC affiliate) who donated to the K9 unit for the purchase and training of it’s newest member, Police Service Dog (PSD) Chase. PSD Chase is a two year old Labrador retriever who was obtained from Guiding Eyes for the Blind in December 2014 and will be handled by Officer James Baker. The purchase and training of PSD Chase was made possible in part by the fundraising efforts of Sweetwood Sweetwood set up a Go Fund Me page to help offset the cost incurred with the purchase and training of PSD Chase.
