12:04pm--#Fairfield CT-- Two women were attacked by a dog in the 200 block of Halley Avenue. They have injuries on their hands and feet from the attack. EMS, Police and Animal Control on the way.
11:44am--#Bridgeport CT-- If traveling in the hollow, watch out for the man in a black coat and red jeans, he has a knife and what appears to be an axe on him and just assaulted his neighbor. Police are on the way.
3:18am--#Stratford CT--Firefighters respond to smoke in a building at 2196 Barnum Avenue. The fire marshal has been requested to the scene.
#Bridgeport CT--A third party caller called police that a possible home invasion took place on Summerfield Avenue around midnight. The caller said his sons and their mother were victims of a home invasion by two unknown males. Money was taken in the invasion. File number 18 filed after 2am.
12:35pm--#Stratford CT--Firefighters respond to an activated fire alarm and finds smoke in the building at Savoy Linen on 895 Woodend Road. Additional firefighters on the way.
12:00am--#Bridgeport CT--Firefighters responded to the high rise apartments at 2370 North Avenue for what was reported to 911 to be a building collapse. Turns out to be portion of a ceiling due to a leak in the apartment above. No building collapse.....
10:33pm--#Bridgeport CT--Delayed furnace ignition is the cause of smoke at 21 Jennings Avenue, no fire.

Everyone got out safely no reported injuries. Fire is thought to have started on the 2nd floor living room. 3 people displaced Red Cross assisting finding a place to stay overnight.
First Selectman Mike Tetreau announced today that effective January 2014, Thomas Dubrosky has assumed the role of Chief of Staff in the First Selectman’s Office. Mr. Dubrosky, a 43-year Fairfield resident, has extensive managerial and community experience that will benefit the Town and its residents. Mr. Dubrosky had spent 42 years in the pharmaceutical industry; 37 of those years were spent with the multi-national Boehringer Ingelheim Corporation located in Ridgefield Connecticut. Mr. Dubrosky was the first representative for Boehringer when it established itself in Connecticut. He has experience in sales, sales management, marketing, trade distribution and training.
