Motor Vehicle Leads to Seizure of Heroin, Marijuana
#Bridgeport, CT – Sept. 9, 2014 – A motor vehicle stop led to three arrests Monday afternoon. Officer Carlos Vazquez pulled over the vehicle near the corner of East Main and Howe streets. He noticed the odor of marijuana and observed what appeared to be a bag of marijuana inside the vehicle. The driver stated that he and his passengers had been smoking marijuana earlier. The driver, Jaquan Bryant, 24, of Bridgeport, also indicated that the car was not licensed or insured. As police prepared to tow the car, officers discovered 38 baggies of heroin packaged for street sale inside the vehicle.
