CVS to stop selling cigarettes

I stopped at a CVS for the first time in a while.  I asked the cashiers if the new Fairfield Walgreen's hurt their business.  They said that since CVS stopped selling cigarettes there has been a big drop off of customers and their hours have been cut as a result.  The article below was originally posted February 5, 2014.  CVS stopped selling cigarettes in October 2015. Governor Malloy Proposes Hike to Minimum Wage

Malloy today announced that he is introducing legislation during the upcoming regular session of the General Assembly that will increase the state minimum wage to $10.10, mirroring recent national efforts by President Obama and other Congressional leaders to raise the federal minimum wage to that same amount.  The increase would give Connecticut the highest minimum wage in the nation.
