Both homeowners found their homes broken in and items taken. Bridgeport Police Need Help IDing Robbery Suspects

VIDEO:  #Bridgeport, CT – Aug. 6, 2014 – Detectives are investigating an armed robbery of a River Street business that occurred Tuesday afternoon.  Officer Christopher Martin and other officers responded to East Coast Auto at 14 River St. at about 2 p.m. Police learned that two armed men accosted six employees at the business demanding money. The men escaped with cash taken from the business office and from the car of one of the employees. During the course of the robbery, a deliver driver pulled into the driveway and saw the suspects running out of the building. Dance Instructor Charged with Sexual Contact

#Bridgeport, CT – Aug. 5, 2014 -- A 26-year-old dance instructor was arrested today on charges he had sexual contact with a 13-year-old student earlier this year. John Sadowski, of Fairfield, faces counts of risk of injury to a minor, fourth-degree sexual assault and computer crimes. The victim’s mother contacted police in April and reported inappropriate  contact between Sadowski and her daughter. The mother stated that she discovered text-message exchanges between Sadowski and her daughter and references to a sexually explicit photograph reportedly sent by the suspect. During the course of the investigation, detectives also learned of inappropriate sexual contact between the suspect and the victim.
