1:02am--#Fairfield CT--A car traveling south on Stratfield Road left the roadway and crashed into 508 Stratfield Road, at the corner of Jackman Avenue. The driver was shaken up but not seriously injured. Police are investigating.
10:40pm--#Stratford CT--There is a manhunt in the Barnum/West/Bruce Avenue area with K-9. I'm uncertain what he is wanted for, I rolled the audio back almost an hour and heard no dispatch, but if yo live in the area that is what going on. If you see anyone suspicious running in you backyard call 911.
9:46pm--#cttraffic--A report of a motorcycle crash on the Merritt Parkway northbound between exits 52 and 53. First responders on the way. Avoid the area if you can.
9:07pm--#Bridgeport CT--A employee at the Auto Zone on State Street was just assaulted by a customer.
6:20pm--#cttraffic #Milford CT--Police are investigating why a man is practicing his martial arts near exit 40 on I-95.
A multiple town pursuit started by that began on 1-95 NB at exit 17. As police approached the vehicle took off and led Westport on a pursuit down to exit 19 where Fairfield and State Police assisted once it exit the 19 off ramp . The vehicle continued to flee down the Post Road back into Westport before making a turn heading eastbound on the Post Road. After being boxed the vehicle jumped the curb and drove on the grass towards Sasco Hill in Fairfield where spike strips were attempted to be deployed. The suspects drove around and were boxed in a short way down the road. There were two in custody. Great coordination between Westport, Fairfield and State Police in ending…
5:39pm--#Bridgeport CT--Firefighters respond to an oven fire at 210 Washington Avenue. The fire was extinguished prior to firefighters arrival. 4:26pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Report of a strong arm robbery on Main Street near the Greene Homes on Highland Avenue. The man, wearing a white t-shirt with khaki pants knocked a female to the ground and stole her phone.
2:10pm--#Bridgeport CT-- A school bus was aledgedly struck by a Safelite van at 1734 Central Avenue. The van is reported to have fled down Boston Avenue. There are no reported injuries.
12:58pm--#Milford CT--Reports of a shooting at 60 Midway Avenue. Radio reports say the scene is not secure, the shooter ran up to the roof. UPDATE: Radio reports saying it is a double shooting. Shooting appears to have taken place at 31 Hollywood Avenue and the shooter ran to the roof at 60 Midway Avenue. Scene has been secured by police at 1:05pm, EMS moving in to treat the patients. UPDATE: EMS has one male with a gunshot wound to the chest being transported priority 1 to Bridgeport Hospital. Additional reports say there is another deceased victim still on scene. UPDATE: WTNH is reporting 2 dead now.
