CT EARS SEARCH AND RESCUE DOG DEMO AT SOUND TIGERS EVENT APRIL 12

  BRIDGEPORT – On Saturday, April 12, from 4:00pm – 7:00pm the CT Emergency Animal Response Service (EARS) will be taking part in “Pucks & Paws,” an event with VCA Animal Hospitals and the Bridgeport Sound Tigers at the Webster Bank Arena. The afternoon will feature information booths, family fun, and demonstrations. Bridgeport News: Stolen Car Recovered After Rollover Crash

1:22am--#Bridgeport CT--A stolen car from a car lot on Madison Avenue was spotted in the Hollow section of town traveling at a high rate of speed.  Police did not even attempt to give chase but instead called Fairfield that a yellow Mini Cooper was heading towards their town on Park Avenue.  It didn't take long for the 17 year old driver's inexperience catch up with him when he rolled the car in front of St. Margaret's Shrine.  EMS treated him at the scene and transported him to St. Vincent's Hospital for treatment.

Bridgeport News: Fatal Shooting, Bridgeport’s 2nd Homicide

9:33pm--‪#‎Bridgeport‬ CT--Police are investigating the city's second homicide. Just after 9:30pm Police received a call from a passerby of a man face down and bleeding at the corner of Ellsworth and Whittier Street. The man was actually on Davis Avenue, Whittier Street turns into Davis Avenue at this intersection. The responding officer called a supervisor immediately finding the victim bleeding heavily. EMS arrived and found the victim suffered from a gunshot to the shoulder. The man was pronounced dead at St. Vincent's Hospital around 10:30pm. We don't expect police to reveal the victim's identity until Thursday.
