Malloy will join a bipartisan group of the nation’s governors at the National Governors Association’s 2014 Winter Meeting in Washington, DC. The meeting is an opportunity for governors to discuss issues affecting states, share innovative solutions, and look for ways to strengthen the state-federal partnership. Topics being discussed will include job creation, education reform, improvement of infrastructure, restructuring of health care, and the development of energy resources. 4:55pm--#Fairfield CT--Police are investigating a purse snatching that just occurred at the Cumberland Farms on Kings Highway East. Suspect fled in a dark colored car, police have the plate number and other details I won't post at this time.
#Milford CT-- A Metro North train carrying about 80 passengers collided with a car Friday afternoon on Oronoque Road. There were no reported injuries. The road has had a history of car/train collisions in the past according to MTA spokesman.
