Facebook’s Revenue Numbers Just Leaked, And The Numbers Look Underwhelming
The numbers look a little light. Facebook was supposed to generate about $4 billion in revenue this year and make $2 billion. Through three quarters, Facebook’s revenues – according to this source – only came in at $2.5 billion. Facebook is growing very fast and $1.5 billion is definitely a possibility, but it isn’t a lock. First one-stop center for Veterans’ Affairs to open in Bridgeport
Bridgeport is the home of the first one-stop Veterans Service Center in the state, to be housed in the City’s Veterans’ Affairs Office at 752 E. Main St. The new center will allow area veterans the ability to access local, state and federal assistance, including direct submission of VA claims, advocacy for veterans and their family members; a PTSD support group and assistance with readjustment needs or concerns, in addition to the advocacy and social support services, food pantry and transportation already offered by the City. Well it almost one stop center, prior to this interview veterans asked me if there was a way to prove they are a veteran. The answer is yes, veterans of any length of service honorably discharged can get an official ID card but must go to Veteran’s Hospital for the card.

9:20am–#Fairfield–Mother comes home to her Castle Ave. home and finds the nanny stealing her jewelry. The nanny takes off running. After a brief search of the area police arrest her behind the alternative high school on Brio St.
1:37am–#West Haven–Report of two women locked inside a silver Nissan on Jameson Street
11:10pm–#Fairfield–Talk about self serve. White male enters 7-11 walks behind the counter and takes 3 cartons of cigarettes. That’s not a petty theft anymore!
11:30pm–#Bridgeport–Car fire Seaview Avenue and Huron St. Red pickup truck seen speeding away after car caught fire. Car is fully involved in flames.
10:43pm–#New Canaan–Silver Hills Hospital, possible self inflicted poisoning. 42 year old woman has been drinking rubbing alcohol since 1pm today among other things.
#Milford–The escaped cow on the lam in Milford since august has been captured and is going to be given to a private farm in Oxford
3:22pm–#Fairfield–A teen wearing camouflage waving a gun headed into the marsh area by the open space on Hulls Highway near the Post Road. Police along with Ruger- Fairfield’s canine quickly apprehend him.
2:34pm–#Bridgeport–Armed robbery just occurred at Mr. Wireless 1751 Barnum Avenue a gun was displayed.

Fairfield School Board Eliminates 2012-2013 February Break
After a narrow 5-3 vote (Board of Education chair Pamela Iacono abstained), the board on Tuesday moved to move the Jan. 18 professional development day to Friday, Feb. 15 and added Feb. 19, 20,21, and 22 as school days.
President’s Day weekend, normally the start of February vacation, will now be a four-day weekend, beginning Friday, Feb. 15; students will return on Tuesday, Feb. 21. Read full story…..

NEW HAVEN — New Haven is taking its immigrant-friendly approach one step further and has proposed allowing non-citizen residents, including those who are undocumented, to vote in municipal elections.
