Fall from the 2nd story window
12:06am--#Bridgeport CT--A woman has fallen from a second story window in the 300 block of Savoy Street. First responders on the way and the are being cautioned she may be intoxicated or on narcotics.
Loud music calls may prompt neighbors to take action on their own
7:46pm--#Bridgeport CT--Police have received over a dozen calls for extremely loud and obscene music coming from a house at the corner of Trumbull and Sylvan Avenue. Many of the neighbors threatened to take matters into their own hands if not taken care of. Police on the way.
Chinese Nationalist gives authorities a scare
5:20pm--A Chinese Nationalist who just graduated from a local university with a degree in electrical engineering, out on a extended student visa gave authorities in Bridgeport a bit of a scare. I have not heard back from Bridgeport Police's spokesperson, but radio controlled flyers and other sources have reached out to us and helped piece this story together. Apparently the graduate was flying his radio controlled airplane at Seaside Park near the soccer field. The plane had a video camera mounted on it. The plane malfunctioned and lost communication to the controller. The plane is also a glider so when it lost communication with the controller it continued gliding, landing near the power plant property. The student then drove to…
Police Identify Shooting Victim
(Bridgeport, CT – April 8, 2013) – Police Monday released the identity of a man shot in the leg over the weekend. The victim was identified as Daquan Brown, 19, of Seaview Avenue. Police Officer Esther Hailey was dispatched at 2:36 a.m. Sunday to the 1000 block of Park Avenue and found Brown there. He was shot in the left leg. He told Hailey that he was walking with his brother in the area of Iranistan Avenue and Laurel Avenue when they encountered a male arguing with several people. Man electrocuted
2:21pm--#Bridgeport- A man working on at building at Wood and Wade Street hit his ladder onto a power line and has been electrocuted. Fire, EMS on scene. He is a 27 year old male and is unresponsive at this time. On the way to St. V's.
Car fire may have been set
12:08am--#Bridgeport CT--Firefighters and police on the way to Randall Ave. (off Lindley St.) for a car fire that may have been set by two yoots seen breaking the windows prior to the fire.
McRobbery At McDonalds
2:45pm--#Bridgeport CT--Police are investigating a robbery that occurred at the McDonald's at 1900 Fairfield Ave. by three teens on bicycles. They took the victims backpack and cellphone. They fled on State Street.
Police Pursuit
1:49am--#Bridgeport--Police pursuit heading onto Boston Ave. He just crashed at Remington Street. One in custody after he hit a couple cars in the area. EMS on the way. If you live on Boston Ave. you may want to check to make sure your car wasn't one of the ones hit.
