BPD AND FBI TASK FORCES SEIZE LARGE QUANTITY OF DRUGS

Bridgeport Police Task force Officers, in conjunction with Federal Bureau of Investigation Safe Streets Tasks Force Officers, seized a large quantity of illegal narcotics from an East Side stash house on Wednesday night. In a stash house on Ohio Avenue in Bridgeport, officers and detectives found 1,555.82 grams of fentanyl pills, 209.19 grams of cocaine, 2.4 grams of heroin, and 1,704.08 grams of marijuana. They also found a press used for compressing powdered narcotics into kilograms, as well as other narcotics packaging equipment and materials in that house. UNH lockdown allegedly caused by Fairfiled student

Video report-- 12:47pm--#WestHaven CT--#Fairfield CT--Fairfield Police along with State Police and FBI are on the scene at 1336 Stratfield Road in Fairfield.  This is the third lockdown in a week at local universities but the first time a gun has been recovered.  The University of New Haven in West Haven was locked down when a man with a long gun was spotted at Shop Rite and the gunman was heading toward the school across the street.

Chinese Nationalist gives authorities a scare

5:20pm--A Chinese Nationalist who just graduated from a local university with a degree in electrical engineering, out on a extended student visa gave authorities in Bridgeport a bit of a scare. I have not heard back from Bridgeport Police's spokesperson, but radio controlled flyers and other sources have reached out to us and helped piece this story together. Apparently the graduate was flying his radio controlled airplane at Seaside Park near the soccer field. The plane had a video camera mounted on it. The plane malfunctioned and lost communication to the controller. The plane is also a glider so when it lost communication with the controller it continued gliding, landing near the power plant property. The student then drove to…

Police receive numerous calls on disturbing video on Facebook

12:02am--#Bridgeport CT--There is a very disturbing video on Facebook of a very small child being sexually assaulted by an adult.  This video has triggered a large number of calls to police departments in the area.   Bridgeport and Stratford Police received many calls.    Police said that unless the caller can identify the person, child or area where the video is originating there is nothing they can do other than report it to the FBI.  There is no way of identifying if it happened in Connecticut.     A viewer told us that her mother called Stratford Police and said they have the link and an investigator is investigating.  Police said not to forward the video but to immediately report it to…
