8amish–#Bridgeport CT–Police spokesman William Kaempffer confirmed an armed man was taken into custody near the Duchess Restaurant on Boston Avenue.  Kaempffer could not confirm a report I received that the man was on his way to guard the recruiting station nearby.  The man had in his possession a shotgun, a handgun and a knife.

Citizens and militia have been protecting and guarding recruiting offices since the shooting in Chattanooga, Tennessee.   If anyone knows the man on Boston Avenue please have him call me at 203-769-6961, I would be interested in telling his side of the story.  The picture below is NOT the man taken into custody but man in Virginia volunteering his time to protect the recruiting station which are “gun free zones”.
