Bridgeport/Trumbull Line–Fire departments for both Bridgeport and Trumbull were kept busy today for reported odor of gas.  They discovered that gas company officials are purging gas lines in the areas of Chopsey Hill Road, Old Town Road and Red Oak Road.

1:24am–Westport–Westport Police are reporting their third smash and grab robbery that just occurred at a gas station on Post Road East.   No other details have been released at this time.  UPDATE–The latest victim was the Phillps 66 Gas Station 485 Post Rd East.  Fairfield PD are waking the owner now by going to his residence to let him know it happened.

11:20–Bridgeport–Fire department on scene for smoke 53 Funston Ave. for smoke in the building turns out to be food burning on the stove in the basement apartment.  Pot removed from the burner, checking for any extensions.

10:25pm–Bridgeport–Police are on the scene at 740 Iranistan Avenue for a stabbing, victim is unconscious, police are investigating.

6:22pm–Bridgeport–Fire and EMTs are attending to a woman who collapsed in front of 25 Stewart Street.

2:44pm–Bridgeport–Report of smoke in the building at 491 Woodlawn Ave.  Turns out to be an electrical issue near the refrigerator.

11:30am–Bridgeport–Report of an odor of gas in an apartment at 710 Trumbull Ave.  Lots of fire apparatus on the way!  UPDATE-Fire department confirms odor of propane and are investigating it’s source.   UPDATE-Fire department requesting gas company to the scene.

12:40am–Bridgeport–Report of a dumpster fire at Shelton and Halette Street.

3:47pm–#Bridgeport–Medical emergency at City Hall at 45 Lyon’s Terrace for an unresponsive person in the Tax Collector’s Office.  EMT’s radio saying seizure.

3:31pm–#Fairfield–Report of odor of exhaust inside  703 Verna Hill Road.  Fire department on the way.

2:58—#Bridgeport–Mulch fire on median near Mimi Draggones on Main Street.

1:47pm–#Bridgeport–Report of a rubbish fire at 2135 Boston Ave.

1:31am–#Fairfield–Party goer at Fairfield Beach Road loses his car keys and calls 911 to help him find them…you know they will !!
