10:56pm–#Darien #ctfire – Fire department at 60 Sunset Road, Darien, CT for a smoke condition in the home. They are investigating and ventilating the home.
9:38pm–#Bridgeport–10 year old boy sprayed in the eye by a skunk at 1480 Capitol Ave.

5:22pm–#Fairfield–Aww they really do rescue kittens. Fairfield Fire on scene at a Glen Ridge Rd home to rescue a kitten under a shed.
2:47pm–#Stratford #ctfire –Stratford Fire reporting to Stratford Fire HQ at 2750 Main St. for a strong odor of natural gas in the basement.
12:54–Bridgeport–63 year old man assaulted outside Washington Park, victim now on Harriet Street.
12:51pm–#Fairfield–715 Post Road at Creative Castle near Belmont a pick up truck has a punctured gas tank. Fire department on scene. Turns out to be motor oil from the oil pan, pick up hit a rock, fire department has oil contained.
12:22pm–#Stratford–smoke coming from the top of a building on 1040 Barnum Ave. over the cleaners. Fire department on scene investigating. Owner of the cleaners says they are having problems with their boiler. No fire, fire department will continue checking roof area.
12:14pm#Bridgeport–Report of smoke coming from a vacant building at the corner of Lafayette St and Atlantic Street. Fire department on the way. Turns out to be nothing.
11:39am–#Milford–Fire department quickly extinguishes porch fire on Revere Place.

11:25pm–#Norwalk–Pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle at Gregory and Marvin/Cemetery (caller wasn’t positive which).
2:42pm–#New Haven–A strong armed robber/car jacking just occurred at 561 Quinnipiac Avenue. 2 black male suspect flee in a green Nissan Xterra with Massachusetts plates # 11FN2. UPDATE— Police have the car but the victim cannot identify the assailants. No location given on where they are pulled over at.
2:32am–Norwalk–Police at 61 Strawberry Hill Ave for a victim of a gun shot wound to the leg. Police are collecting shell casing and fire department tending to the victim’s injuries.
August 2nd:
5:04pm–#Bridgeport–Police to investigate a babysitter striking a 5 year old at 350 Center Street. Mother comes home to find the child with red and swelling on the face. EMTs inspect the rest of the child, does not appear to have been struck anywhere else.
