Fairfield Fire Department responded to a reported car fire on I-95 Southbound near
exit 24.  Engine 2, ladder 2 and car 3 arrived to find a minivan fully involved with fire on

Engine 2 used an 1 ¾ inch hand line to extinguish the fire. Engine 3 was also called to the seen to supply additional water.
The cause of the fire appears to have been accidental, and under investigation.
