Upon arrival, Bridgeport police officers observed emergency medical personnel providing aid to the unresponsive motorcyclist. The motorcyclist was transported to St. Vincent’s Medical Center by American Medical Response (AMR). Despite emergency medical efforts, the 28-year-old Bridgeport resident succumbed to his injuries at approximately 12:31 a.m. on October 9, 2026.

Preliminary findings indicate that the motorcyclist was traveling southbound on Park Avenue. The motorcycle approached the intersection of Suburban Avenue, and the motorcycle was struck by a Honda CR-V being operated by a 34-year-old Bridgeport resident who was attempting to make a left turn onto Park Avenue. The impact ejected the motorcyclist from the motorcycle. The 34-year-old female driver of the Honda CR-V did not sustain any injuries.
