Orange–We received multiple tweets on our Twitter account that a strong circular wind whipped through the Orange Fairgrounds on Orange taking down many tops and tents at the Boy Scout Jam. Special thanks to @cluise for providing this photo. There are reports of six Boy Scouts injured with two being transported to the hospital for minor injuries. @sherig12 said “closest thing to a tornado I have ever seen in person”. @sherig12: “Large gust of wind lifted tents. Spirally sucked up papers & then went away quickly. <1 min. " From the accounts it sounds as if it were a micro burst or dust devil. If we get any updates we will of course pass them on.
