3:05am–#Westport  CT– Westport Police responded to Imperial Avenue on a report of multiple motor vehicle break-ins in the area. It was reported that resident vehicles were found with doors left open and dome lights left on. Arriving officers observed evidence indicating the acts were completed recently. Additional units were sent to the area and a perimeter was established. Officer Erin Shaw located three (3) juveniles in the area of Compo Road South and Bridge Street. The juveniles ran from responding officers. Officers located one juvenile on Underhill Parkway, and the other two were located on the platform of the Saugatuck Train Station. Officers located stolen goods linking the juveniles to several vehicles from Compo Road South, Imperial Avenue and Strathmore Lane.

The juveniles were taken into custody. No further information due to the juvenile status of the suspects.
