10:30pm–#Bridgeport CT–#ctfire–Firefighters were called out to the corner of Brooks Street and Arctic Street for food truck on fire.  When firefighters arrived they reported a fully involved vehicle fire and their first concerns was the one hundred pound propane tank on the back of the truck.  Assistant Fire Chief told me the first thing they did was to get water on the propane tank to cool it off.  Their second concern was all the vehicles and building in close proximity of the truck.  Firefighters quickly got water on the truck and kept the fire from extending elsewhere.  The smoke from the fire could be seen from I-95 as far back as the Arena at Harbor Yard. There were no injuries.    The truck served hot dogs, hamburger and chicken to the nearby trucking school. Apparently there have been other vandalism attempts on the food truck and the vandals had finished the job off tonight according to Firpi.   The fire marshal was called to the scene and has begun his investigation.
