#Bridgeport, CT – Nov. 12, 2013 – A 32-year-old man faces charges after he punched his mother’s auto mechanic in the face over his prices.

The incident happened Monday afternoon at a business in the 1500 block of Stratford Avenue. Officer Ilidio Pereira responded to the location and spoke to the victim. The victim stated that the suspect, Deron Brooks, of Bridgeport, began yelling at him about the pricing of the labor for work on his mother’s car. He also began screaming about work that was done on his own car. The victim stated he tried to defuse the situation by walking away but added that Brooks followed him and punched him in the face before fleeing.

Brooks’ mother, who was present, helped police contact her son, who agreed to turn himself in at police headquarters. He was charged with third-degree assault and breach of peace. His bond was set at $5,000.

I had work done on my car and I pretty much assume this is the same Mechanic.. he has not set price’s and he says he doing one job and does another and than ask for another price which is always higher. I not saying its right to punch someone in the face. But DMV need to check out this Mechanic and see who else he robbed along the way..
