2:28am–#Bridgpeort CT–Tonight’s car fire is at Seaview Avenue and Deacon Street. A pickup has crashed into a utility pole and the hood is on fire.
Smoke in a condo
1:11am–#Fairfield CT–Wake up Fairfield. Smoke in a condo at 245 Unquowa Road. Here come a bunch of firetrucks!
Attempted car break in
11:16pm–#Fairfield CT–A man was temporarily caught by a passerby for attempting to break in to cars on Edison Avenue. The suspect broke free and was last seen running through back yards towards Old Stratfield Road.
11:01pm–#Bridgeport CT–A break in to a garage in the 700 block of Broadbridge Avenue a snow blower was taken. Responsible is older Chevy pick up truck two tone gray and white with flood lights on the roof, only two of the four are operational. It had a partial CT plate #3836
Excellent detective work by police officers
#Fairfield CT–Fairfield Police officers did an outstanding job to locate a Sacred Heart student who threatened to harm themselves. The student had left the university but officers were able to work a series of clues and detective work in locating the student.
Trumbull crash closes Main Street

Snow Emergency Parking Lots are Available for Residents to Move Cars Off City Streets
BRIDGEPORT, CT (December 13, 2013) – Due to the projected winter storm, Mayor Bill Finch has declared a snow emergency in the City beginning at 5 p.m. on Friday, December 13.
During a snow emergency, residents must move their cars off posted Snow Emergency streets or be subject to fines and towing. Alternate side of the street parking rules are in effect for all other streets throughout the City in order to allow snow plow drivers’ clear passage. To comply with the Snow Emergency Alternate Side of the Street Parking Rules, residents must move their cars to the ‘even-numbered’ side of the street by 12 midnight tonight and remain on the even-numbered side of the street until the odd-numbered side of the street has been cleared.

During the storm, residents may use the following parking areas:
- · North End Library, 3455 Madison Ave.
- · Veterans Memorial Park (entrance off Madison Avenue)
- · Municipal Parking Lot located on the corner of Fairfield Avenue and Jetland Street (adjacent to 2895 Fairfield Ave.)
- · Health Department at 752 East Main St.
- · Lot adjacent to the former Waltersville School, 95 Gilmore St.
- · Parking Lot H, located under the I-95 overpass at Main Street and North Frontage Road and South Frontage Road (Across the street from People’s United Bank and Transit Parking Garage at Webster Bank Arena)
Residents may also use the following school parking lots:
- · Cesar Batalla School, 606 Howard Ave.
- · Geraldine Johnson School, 475 Lexington Ave.
- · Luis Munoz Marin School, 479 Helen St.
- · Cesar Batalla School, 606 Howard Ave.
- · Central High School – use Madison Avenue entrance
Cars must be moved from school lots by Sunday at 2 p.m. so crews can get the lots cleared for the opening of school on Monday.
