6:30pm–#Norwalk CT–A train hit a van that was on the tracks at the Glover Street crossing.  No one was in the van at the time of the impact.  There were about 100 passengers but no one was injured.  The train was able to leave under its own power after the van was removed.  Reports say the van driver said he was stuck in the snow at the crossing.  The crossing lights and gates were active and worked as the were suppose to.  The front of the locomotive, the crossing signal and the van were damaged in the crash.  Police and Metro North are investigating.
