Bridgeport Firefighters Battle Routine Fire on Madison Court
#Bridgeport CT--Firefighters were once again at 6 Madison Court for what seems to be a quarterly fire early Friday morning. Firefighters were last there on January 14th. A blaze on Christmas Eve 2012 found one victim dead in the building. The building presents a hazard to the neighborhood due to its close proximity to other occupied homes. In addition the floorboards have large holes from previous fires presenting serious risks to firefighters entering the building to extinguish the fires. The city has been trying to have the building knocked down since the 2012 fire.
