Bridgeport Mayor Finch on One-Year Moratorium for Medical Marijuana Dispensaries

#Bridgeport, Connecticut (May 28, 2014) – Background: Last night, Bridgeport’s Zoning Commission voted for a year-long moratorium on accepting medical marijuana plans. Governor Signs Early Childhood Education Bill

Governor Dannel P. Bridgeport News: Armed Robbery New China Restaurant

10:09pm--#Bridgeport CT--The New China Restaurant at 1550 Wood Avenue was just robbed at gunpoint.  Suspect fled on foot towards Fairfield.  Police are investigating. UPDATE:   Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying two people who held up a Wood Avenue restaurant Tuesday.  The New China Restaurant, 1550 Wood Ave., was robbed at gunpoint by two black males at approximately 10:05 p.m. The suspects stole a small amount of cash and the store owner’s iPhone. Stratford News: Rollover Accident Mohawk Street

1:35pm--#Stratford CT--First responders on the way to a rollover accident on Mohawk Street.  UPDATE: A manhunt is underway in the area with K-9.  Search for the suspect started around the brewery and is now focused near the railroad tracks.  Police eventually made the arrest after a manhunt.  Special thanks to David B Adams Sr. for the photo.
