9:11pm–#Bridgeport CT–Some scary moments in Black Rock where a car crashed into a utility pole at the intersection of Brewster Street and Grovers Avenue. Firefighters were concerned that the utility pole that snapped in half had shifted twice on them. Firefighters were able to extricate the two occupants who I’m told were alert and talking to rescuers. United Illuminating were quick on the scene but the pole belonged to AT&T who informed police it will require two hours for them to get there.
