#Bridgeport, CT — Aug. 13, 2014 — A 22-year-old man injured Saturday in a hit-and-run incident has died.

Kyle Williams Jr. was struck at about 4:39 a.m. on Park Avenue. He died at Bridgeport Hospital Tuesday.

The victim was crossing the street when he was struck by a northbound vehicle. Based on witness accounts, the vehicle accelerated through the intersection as the traffic signal changed and then struck the victim. The driver applied the brakes after the impact. The driver then fled the scene.

The vehicle was described as a Acura Integra with tinted windows.

Investigators are following leads. At this time, no arrests have been made.
