#Monroe CT– Tonight’s car fire was hosted by Monroe.  Monroe firefighters extinguished a fire involving a Honda SUV at the intersection of Wheeler Road and Monroe TurnpikeSaturday night around 9:45. The driver reported having engine problems and then seeing smoke and fire. The vehicle was destroyed but no one was injured.
