Today I’m scheduled to have a Bronchoscopy and biopsy at Yale-New Haven Smillow Hospital.  A mass has been detected in my lungs during a catscan while at the West Haven Veteran’s Hospital.  All blood tests say I do not have cancer but they want to find out what the mass is.  They will have to put me out during the procedure and I can be “out of it” the rest of the day.

  1. I wish you the best. My husband also had the same procedure done at Smilow on January 18, 2013. Just be sure when they discharge you that you do not try to eat too much when you get home. By the way, the doctor who performed the procedure was Dr. Michaud, a female doctor.
I will keep you and your family in my prayers. God bless you.
