#Fairfield CT–Video Report—Earlier today General Electric, Fairfield’s largest taxpayer threatened to move out if the State of Connecticut moves forward with their plans to raise taxes in the the state.  First Selectman Tetreau told me he believes it is not the company’s immediate interest at this time after they just expanded their present facility.   Tetreau believes this is statement of direction but that the state needs to create a business friendly environment.  “The problems we have in the state aren’t going to be fixed overnight, I think they want to see us move in the right direction” said Tetreau.
