4:31pm–#Bridgeport CT– A fifteen year old male was shot in the back and neck at Trumbull Gardens this afternoon. He was transported to St. Vincent’s Hospital where he is in stable condition. Two males, both with guns were seen fleeing in a dark colored car. Witness said about 6-8 shots were fired, police have a crime scene at 410 Trumbull Gardens. The witnesses in the 470 block said the teen then fell on parked cars asking them to call 911, he then left in a private vehicle. Police were sent twice to St. Vincent’s Hospital due to a large crowd at the emergency room. Street sources tell me this is connected to last night’s shoot on Madison Avenue where a 17 year old teen was killed, of course this is not confirmed. If things were tense enough at Trumbull Gardens fireworks went off at Sunshine Circle around 5:15pm. If you have any information please contact Bridgeport Police Department at (203) 581-5201. All sources are confidential, they just want to stop these shooting!
