Here is the police alert we told about when it was happening live yesterday:

#Stratford CT—On 09-22-2015 Kevin Savage age 22 and Anfernee Dancy age 19 , both from Waterbury were arrested after an incident on Main Street in Stratford. The pair failed to stop for construction on South Main Street near the airport. When stopped by the officer working the construction detail the driver, Savage handed the officer paperwork for the car and a license that did not belong to him. When questioned about his identity Savage fled from the scene. Officers attempted to catch up to the car operated by Savage and found that he had crashed into a tree on Main Street near Minor Cross. They ran away on foot and officers began a search. Dancy was located walking Main Street and Savage was located a shot distance away. Both were positively identified as the occupants of the car and taken into custody. Officers found a butterfly knife in the car which is a prohibited weapon in a motor vehicle.

 

 

Dancy was charged with Weapon in a Motor Vehicle and Interfering. He was held on a $25,000 dollar bond.

 

Savage was charged with Engaging in Pursuit, Reckless Driving, Disobeying and Officer’s Signal, Evading Responsibility, Operating without a License, Weapon in a Motor Vehicle, Criminal Impersonation, Interfering and Possession of Burglary Tools. He was held on a $50,000 dollar bond.
