#Bridgeport, Conn. (November 9, 2015) – Today, the Bridgeport Police Department is asking for public assistance in finding a suspect who physically assaulted a juvenile, and stole his bicycle.

On Sunday, November 8, police officers responded to a call regarding a strong arm robbery outside of an establishment near the corner of Ogden St. and Noble Ave. Upon arrival, police officers were told by the victim – who is a juvenile – that he parked his bike outside of the establishment, and went inside for a purchase. When the victim came back outside, the suspect was sitting on the victim’s bicycle. The victim said to the suspect, “give it back.” The suspect responded by punching the victim in the right side of the stomach, and then fled on the victim’s bicycle west bound down Ogden St. The bicycle is a red, gray, and black colored TREK mountain bike Police officers are investigating the incident, and ask for anyone with information on the incident to contact the Bridgeport Police Department at (203) 576-1311.
