#Westport CT–December 4th, 2015 Westport Officers responded to the Shelton Police Department and took custody of Christopher Freer (age 36), for an outstanding larceny arrest warrant held by this Department. The arrest warrant stems from a Christopher Freerlarceny complaint back on August 28th of this year where the suspect had ran out of the Stop and Shop store with 12 four packs of Red Bull. The suspect, who was being followed by a store employee, then dumped the items in the parking lot before entering a waiting car. The store employee then recovered the stolen merchandise, some of which was damaged from being dropped by the suspect. Using the store video footage of the incident, and with the assistance from the Shelton Police Department, Freer was identified as the suspect.

Arrested was Christopher Freer (age 36) of Ansonia Connecticut Freer was charged with Larceny 6th C.G.S 53a-125b Freer posted a $500 bond and was assigned a court date December 14th, 2015 at Norwalk Court.  (Westport Police Press Release)
