On 01/21/16 at approximately 11:20pm, Westport Officers were dispatched to a Franklin Street address on a report of a disturbance. Officers located an open door and entered the residence. The victim was located bleeding from the head and the accused, James Olivia, had left the scene. Officers located Olivia at his residence in Norwalk a short time later. Officers determined that Olivia grabbed and struck the victim in the face, then stopped the victim from calling 911.

Olivia was arrested and held on a $10,000.00 bond with a court date the next morning.
