My 87 mother in law had a fall today.  Thank you Life Alert and the Fairfield Emergency Dispatch  for getting the care to her right away.  Special thanks to AMR that kept her calm and took VERY good compassionate care of her.  Thanks to the Fairfield Fire Department for the same great care and for checking all the smoke and carbon monoxide detectors while they were there.  I had little to no interaction with the police officer that was there but there are many times I hear on the radios that the police officer dispatched is the first to provide care, often life saving.

She is home with a couple staples and stitches after the great care from the nurses,  doctors, orderlies and staff.  I’m fortunate to not have to deal personally with the first responders.  I see them all the time in my reporting but I don’t get to see first hand the compassion and dedication they have all the time.   We are so lucky to live in an area with such outstanding professional!
