#Fairfield Connecticut– As we were the first to alert you to, a sexual assault took place at Fairfield University around 11pm Monday night.  Police say the victim was lured from a path to a wooded area when she was attacked.  The university issued a  warning students to “exercise caution and institute the buddy system when walking at night”.  The state police K-9 was called to the scene  but Deputy Chief Chris Lyddy told me the dog did not find the suspect who was only described as a male around 40 years old.  University counselors have been with the victim.
