#Stratford Connecticut– There has been an increase in thefts of power equipment from unattended trailers. These thefts are occurring while workers are diligently working on a jobsite often leaving equipment unattended. These thefts are crimes of opportunity and occur very quickly. We encourage citizens not to leave any power equipment unattended. We encourage owners to inventory their equipment by photographing the equipment, documenting make model and serial number, and etching unique identifiable information on the equipment.
