11:44am–#Bridgeport Connecticut—#BlackRock CT–  These two men had an unexpected swim this morning when their small boat flipped over and sank in the sound at St. Mary’s By The Sea.   When firefighters arrived one of the men had already swam back ashore and the second man struggled clinging to a plastic bucket for flotation.  They were able to make it back to shore without the firefighters help.  The boat sank.  Firefighters emphasized the importance of having a personal flotation device (not a plastic bucket) even for short distances from the shore.
