Bridgeport News: Cop Caught Being Awesome!

#Bridgeport CT--  How about some likes for Bridgeport Police Officer Michael Salemme III?  Officer Salemme was dispatched to chase away a "panhandler" near a business.  Sadly, these are frequent calls in ALL towns in our area.  This was the first time I was able to "catch them" in the act.  Officer Salemme, like many officers in our area purchased him a meal out of his own money  sent him on his way.  Officer Salemme, "We're lovin' it"!!  Way to go!

Bridgeport News: High School Teacher Arrested For Sexual Assault

Bridgeport, CT - Captain Porter announced today that the Bridgeport Police have arrested Laura Ramos, (DOB 3/23/86), of Pond Point Avenue, Milford, CT. Ramos, a teacher at Central High School was charged with sexual assault in the second degree. The charges stem from reports of an inappropriate sexual relationship with a male student. Ramos is held on a $50,000 bond and has a court date scheduled for June 28, 2017. The arrest was a collaboration of work by the BPD Detectives Bureau, School Resource Officers, and the Superintendent’s Office.   This press release was made possible by:

Norwalk News: Commercial Burglary

Norwalk Detectives are investigating a commercial burglary at Rowayton Pizza on Rowayton Avenue that occurred during the overnight hours on June 10, 2017. The suspect broke out the front window with rocks and then entered the business. Once inside the suspect took the cash register before fleeing in a small sedan, possibly a Toyota.
