Norwalk Fire Department Press Release–Norwalk Fire responded to a house fire at 18 Nash pl. FD was met with heavy fire showing from the front door and rear windows on the first floor. The fire started in the kitchen area and spread to the entire first floor.

The first floor is gutted and the second floor sustained heat and smoke damage. This was a two story two-family home. One side was posted unfit for occupancy and displaced a family of three. Red cross provided shelter for the night. There were no injuries .

The fire was under control in 30 min.

7:55pm–#Norwalk CT– Norwalk firefighters were dispatched to assist New Canaan firefighter at a fire on South Avenue when they were also called to a fire of their own at 18 Nash Place which they quickly took care of.  Once again, thanks to Servpro for providing photos from the scene.
