9:02am–#Bridgeport CT–  A fire in the basement of 1002 Pembroke Street spread to the third floor this morning.  One tenant on the second floor was treated for smoke inhalation.  The fire went to two alarms before firefighters were able to bring the fire under control.  The fire marshal was called to investigate the cause of the fire.  Red Cross are on scene assisting the tenants with temporary housing and aid.
