Fairfield Police UPDATE:  Ramona Lopez (DOB 03/05/1978) of Fairfield, was issued a Misdemeanor Summons and charged with DUI, and Failure to Drive Right, after she was involved in a motor vehicle collision and subsequently failed the standardized field sobriety tests.

Officers responded to the intersection of Grasmere Avenue and Longview Avenue for a three-car motor vehicle collision. Officers made contact with the sole occupant, Ramona Lopez, who was unaware she was involved in a collision. Officers observed Lopez to have slurred speech, a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on her breath, and a difficult time balancing. Lopez subsequently failed to complete standardized field sobriety tests and was arrested and transported to headquarters for processing.  At headquarters Lopez submitted to a chemical analysis of her breath which showed an elevated blood alcohol content above the legal limit.

Ramona Lopez was scheduled to appear in Bridgeport Superior Court on 03/19/2018 and released on a $30.00 cash bond.  Police said no mugshot was available.

 

9:28pm–#Fairfield CT– A woman received a field sobriety test after crashing into two parked cars on Grasmere Avenue near Longview Avenue.  There were no reported injuries.
