On Friday, August 3, 2018, Detective Cintron arrested Brent Whiteman (DOB: 9/30/1978 of 332 Dogwood Drive, Bridgeport) and served him with an arrest warrant charging him with the February 8, 2017 murder of his wife’s uncle, Robert Jones. Whiteman’s wife, Tynisha Hall, is currently awaiting trial for her role in the murder. Whiteman and Hall were the care-givers for the 61-year-old victim, who was disabled and unable to live on his own. Recent evidence revealed that Whiteman and Hall routinely abused Jones, until he succumbed to the physical abuse last February. Whiteman is charged with Murder, Abuse of Person in the First Degree, Risk of Injury to a Child, and Tampering with Physical Evidence. He is being held on a $1,000,000 bond.
