The Stratford Police Department is investigating a drive by shooting that occurred on Woodend Road on 08-07-2018 at approximately 7pm. One victim was shot as a result of a drive by and the suspects fled the scene in what appears to be a silver car, possibly a HONDA. The car in question has a distinctive black front bumper. The shooter and vehicle fled south on Woodend Road after the incident.

The lone shooting victim is a 16 year old male who was playing basketball on the courts. He has been treated at Bridgeport Hospital and is in good condition.
