Operation Fuel partners with local government and community-based organizations at more than 100 sites throughout Connecticut to ensure that families in need have access to year-round energy assistance.

The application process is already in progress and runs through Wednesday, October 31, 2018 or when the funding runs out. One-time grants of up to $500 per household for deliverable fuel, gas and electric utilities are available to qualified individuals.

To qualify for electric utility, clients must have a shut-off notice, have no utility service, must need assistance to maintain a payment arrangement or have a past due balance of 30 days or more.
