10:30PMish-- It was a rough Christmas night for two Lexington Avenue families who were sent out in the cold after a fire swept their apartments. The Red Cross is providing them with temporary housing and immediate needs. There were no reported injuries in battling the fire.

Police received a call from the gas station that someone walked into the gas station shot in the arm. A second person was also transported by EMS from the scene. 12:22am--#Bridgeport CT-- A car hit a house damaging the front porch at 385 Madison Avenue. The driver fled the scene. Firefighters built temporary shoring since a support column was knocked down. Madison at Grand and North Avenue is closed until the car is removed.
