2020-06-26@12:09pm–#Fairfield CT–#MetroNorth– Metro-North posted on Twitter that “due to police department activity near Fairfield Metro. Customers requiring those stations are advised to seek alternate transportation”. I reached out to Fairfield Police Chief Lyddy who said there is no police activity but downed wires. Just as I was about to post this Metro-North reported the service has resumed.
DoingItLocal is run by Steve Krauchick. Steve has always had interest with breaking news even as an early teen, opting to listen to the Watergate hearings instead of top 40 on the radio. His interest in news spread to become the communities breaking news leader in Connecticut’s Fairfield County.
